Amazing Sound Track Train for Children

Today I would like to write a couple of words about a very interesting toy. This sound train was created by designer Ricardo Seola and it is a fantastic and highly useful educational music toy for children. BTW, it literally features a train and a track and their music is so cute.

The track is made a special way and it has with small bumps and when train comes across them – there appears sound.

The toy comes with a variety of songs )

Pleo Just The Beginning In Automated Pets Yet To Come

After numerous delays and release-date changes, the robotic Camarasaurus from California-based robotics manufacturers Ugobe has officially been launched. The robotic toy-pet was designed by Caleb Chung, co-creator of the Furby, which could be considered one of the earliest forms of virtual-pets. The Pleo features lifelike movement and sound, and according to Ugobe, each Pleo will “learn” from its experiences and environment through a sophisticated artificial intelligence and develop an individual personality. The robot is software-upgradable via SD card or USB interfaces and comes with a $350 price tag.

While in its current state the Pleo is mostly regarded as a toy. However, it’s predicted that the virtual pet may very well be the beginning of a huge wave of inexpensive robots yet to come, designed to offer people companionship the same way a living pet would.

Inspired by old Japanese kid’s game and made by Brando Toys these robo-beetles have nice chances to become very popular among widest arrange of people (especially always bored office staff). All you need is to buy a pair of these tiny remote-controlled monsters, make some kind of fighting ring and find opponent who will control one of them. Let the fight begin!

As you see from this video, these beetles have 4 ways move and a battle function to lift up your opponent’s beetle, they are extremely flexible in their moves, very close to their real prototypes. You can invent your own rules – the goal of the battle could be to flip opponent’s beetle upside down, or to push him out of the fighting ring.

New transformer stuff is hitting the stores. Following a successful movie the transformer hype is taking over the world. The high-tech realization of the cult animated series established the bots as some kind of technical icon. Everyone is still shocked by the huge processor time spent on the rendering of the “most of them came to kill us, but some of them came to save us” robots and by the animations. So Hasbro is giving more heat with new toys to a new part of animated adventures. Some of them look awesome like this dude.

Some not so cool.

But in general it is cool to upgrade your working place with such imaginary piece of robotics even if you are not a transformer fan. I myself would rather prefer something like the evil dudes from 40k. Like this awesome guy.
