Rumours that Google is about to buy Motorola Mobility spread like a wildfire. Are you ready to face the truth that Google is buying up Motorola Mobility for $40 a share in cash, or $12.5 billion …

Well, I am literally speechless because from now on Google can be not even the hugest searching system but a mobile company as well. Many specialists claim that is was a defensive deal because it was the only one possible way for Google to protect the Android platform.

Don’t you think that Google with his Android and possibilities to create mobile phones from now on, can become a direct competitor of Apple? Also, buying Motorola Google shoots two birds with one stone since Google has problems with patents and Motorola holds more than 17,000 of them.

How do you like the idea?

When I’ve heard for the first time that Google is about to launch its new and completely own operating system that can be a direct rival of Microsoft’s Windows, I was a bit shocked and realized – its founders stick to the fact of conquering the Earth.

According to the manufacturers Google Chrome OS will be launched next year, and the company is already communicating with some computer manufacturers to make sure its new OS will be present on a wide range of “netbooks”. It is suggested, that the new OS will feature two main peculiarities: it will offer seamless integration with the web, and secondly, the company is aiming for a system that “just works”. Also the Chrome OS will be “open-source”, and completely combinable with Linux.

Let me just tell you that Google has already expanded its influence in such spheres:

Email

Frankly speaking, one of the best email clients ever. Love Gmail. This mail constantly changes and offers new and new features.

Maps

I think only a deaf person has never heard of Google’s Maps service. It is controversial and thought-provoking but numerous people DO love it.

And that is only a beginning …
