CES 2009 was full of novelties and the second player in the Ibiza line from Haier was among the hottest ones. I must admit, thatpart from being the company’s first real touchscreen player, it is not bad at all.

Haier Ibiza Theatre Touchscreen PMP

The main advantage of Ibiza is its price. The player can be a great and low-cost alternative to players from Apple and Samsung. As to its tech specs, the gadget features:

  • 2.4-inch, 320×240 screen;
  • comes with Bluetooth, an FM radio tuner and a microSD slot;
  • the player supports Real’s Rhapsody to Go and the following audio formats: MP3, WMA, AVI and MPEG-4 videos.

The player comes in 2 versions – the 8GB one for $110, and the 16GB version for $130.
