Not a new gadget at all, but I’ve just found it on Internet. Very bright and simple idea by Russian design agency Solovyovdesign. I see some influence of “digital paper” idea here, but this is much more interesting:
Timeflex is a sticky flexible LCD watch with transparent screen. The main idea is that sometimes you need to have watch on your clothes, for example when you’re wearing some working uniform, or you can’t wear your ordinary watch, when swimming for instance. So there’s only one solution - resistant watch that could be placed wherever you want. That is what Timeflex is. You can place it wherever you want, it has specially designed gummy surface that will stick to any other surface many times.
Timeflex is powered with ultra small built-in batteries. All functions and setup are controlled by touchscreen. Don’t have an idea is it available for sale and how much it costs, but still this is a very interesting gadget that will bring a lot of following devices from many other manufacturers.
