HP Premiers Mac-compatible Home Servers

Hurray, finally thanks to HP we are able to enjoy the first home server designed for use with both Windows and Mac computers.The following gadget is based on the Microsoft Windows® Home Server platform. The MediaSmart Server automatically organizes all the files across all PCs in a home network and the Internet. Of course, it’s main features is MAC and Windows compatibility since more and more users have both Windows and Mac computers.

HP Premiers Mac-compatible Home Servers

According to the manufacturer retail price for the HP MediaSmart Server ex485, that comes with 750 GB of hard disk storage is $599. You can order it from Amazon since Jan. 5, 2009, and it is expected to ship in February.
