Do you hate your TV? I do. Those endless advertisements, soap operas, stupid comedy shows – sometimes I just want to take out big cowboy’s six-shooter and make several holes in TV screen! Now such fantasies became almost real.

Sharp Shooter TV Remote Control

Manufactured by Firebox, the Sharp Shootin’ Remote Control can control one of the functions of your regular remote control and is compatible with most TVs. You program it for any function (turn on/off, volume up/down, switching channel – whatever) and when the red light start glowing – just aim it on your TV’s sensor and shoot! You’ll hear funny sound of real gun shooting and your TV will react in the way you wanted.

A pleasant bonus for every buyer is gold-effect sheriff’s badge that comes in package with this awesome remote control. I guess it could help you to feel yourself like a real TV cowboy. It might be a good present for everyone who watches TV from time to time and is sold for $20 approximately.

While modding is very popular among geeks, there’s still a problem to find an external device which will suite your PC’s new style. Imagine that you’re an owner of steampunk-styled PC. Everything is looking like it was made a century ago, brass-like textures, oldschool analogue dials and pointers, etc. And now you need a webcam that will suite this style. Make sense?

Steampunk webcam

Here is what we’ve got from Chinavasion. Stylish webcam with usual specs – 640 x 480 resolution at 30fps and 1.3MP still shots, USB powered. Looks like it is really made of brass, but’s it’s just painted plastic. Awesome as for me! But there’s a small problem with price. It’s retail price (as listed) is $12 only! But when you’ll look attentively, you’ll see that shipping starts with $26 per piece! But anyway the total price is quite normal for such product.

Flying Alarm Clock

Flying Alarm Clock

For me personally getting up in the morning is a big everyday challenge. Frankly speaking I hate it. The biggest problem is that when you hear the alarm clock, you just turn it off or wait till the end of sound signal and then fall asleep again. Since all alarm clocks have snooze button and usually placed close to bed, they’re utility is very close to null, especially for such heavy sleepers as I am.

So, imagine such alarm clock, that you have to find alarm clock first to turn the alarm off. Make sense? Sure! The Flying Alarm Clock is a real windfall in the world of alarm clocks. The main idea that it consists of two parts – clock itself and propeller-driven key, that flies up in air when it’s time. You can’t turn off the alarm until you’ll get the key, leaping off your nightstand and plug it into clock. By the time you’ve found it, you’ll definitely wake up, just because the key may fly up and fall in some far and dusty corner of your room :-)

By the way, the sound of alarm is very loud and annoying, so there’s no chances to fall asleep without snoozing it.
