Nowadays, a person without a phone and PC can be treated as either a too old-dated or simply stupid. We can’t imagine our lives without these devices. But, sometimes, while spending great sums of money on various plays and music CD’s we forget about cases. Not important? But one day, you can find that there is not enough space in your storage box or desk and it is impossible to store the DVDs without scratching them.

DVD case

In such situations, it is time to think about convenient and reliable DVD cases. They are of perfect size for game covers and discs, such cases have layered pockets, the pages are removable so they can be easily sorted, pages for games with 2 discs are not a problem as well.

My choice looks like the HardBody Black Wave PRO and it is the best decision for 90 DVDs and 90 covers. This case will keep your discs safe and sound and will please your eyes with its bright velvet lined interior.

Asus unites USB flash drive and mouse into single device!

Asus launches a new device – MS71, that was seen first at Cebit 2008. It looks like an increased USB flash drive, but it’s really much more than that.

Asus MS71 Mouse

I think that Asus’ developers made a bet on uniting two most different devices into one. As the result we see what we see. MS71 is a wireless laser mouse with built-in flash memory. The device consists of two parts: mouse transmitter and receiver (mouse itself), which has magnetic locking mechanism that allows to unite two parts in one device and use it as a flash drive. The other thing is that when the device is plugged into USB port, it charges built-in mouse battery.

Asus MS71 parted

You may be skeptic about Asus MS7, but I Think that this gadget will be very popular among laptop users. Technical details and pricing are still unknown, we’ll see some press releases from Asus in nearest future.

College Need #1

Many people are currently applying to college or universities now that I have noticed. It is in fact College season! Well for the coming needs of college, I thought of dedicating some posts to the needs of college.

There are in fact many needs, but there are some that should be written about and others that are unnecessary. For many people, the obvious are laptops, desktop computers, TV’s, the lot and like. But there are other things that people sometimes overlook.

The First thing that everybody told me and even past alums said that I would need a planner. One of those PDA’s and to be more specific a Blackberry. Which leads me to my next point

For college, a Blackberry is necessary for a lot of reasons although many people think that people are just being lazy. However, for a person that is really pressed for time all the time or just needs a little extra helping hand, then the Blackberry will definitely come in handy.

Item A: The Blackberry will check email and when a person is on the go, outside of his/ her dorm, or even a local coffee shop. What would be better? To whip out a laptop and fire the thing up or just take out your phone??

Item B: Another thing that will help a person is the planner. I think the last generations are especially known for procrastinating. I am guilty as well as everyone else. The planner is definitely a must need and to be perfectly honest unless you own a Franklin what looks better a Silver Blackberry or a black Covey? My hands get tired fast and I have horrible writing…Blackberry wins!

Item C (last thing): If you already need to carry around a phone anyways, why not just drop the laptop a few days. Maybe you don’t always need to take notes on a computer every single day. Drop it off, check email with a blackberry instead.

This might be one of the most boring posts ever, but I thought about it and acted on what I thought is knowledge.

Macworld 2008 will be definitely remembered as one of the most significant IT events of this year. It’s no need to specify all presented stuff, I want to tell you a little about Apple Time Capsule

Apple Time Capsule

This is a wireless hard drive from Apple that uses wireless network controller (supports 802.11a, b, g and n draft2.0 specification). This storage is really versatile – you can use it as file server for your media files, it has all necessary interfaces for working with other Apple’s wireless devices like iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV. But the main and most significant feature (it actually has brought the name for this gadget) is backup.

Apple Time Capsule can be mounted as wireless hard drive to any PC or Mac computer and will have special file backup & recovery software in package. It is already available for pre-ordering in Apple Store. The prices are $299.00 for 500 GB model and $499.00 for 1TB model.
